The Thomas G. Smith Funeral Home, which was founded in 2003, is family owned and operated by the husband and wife team of Thomas ("Tommye") and Lisa Smith.

Tommye, a native of Dayton, Ohio, is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati (Economics) as well as the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and is an Ohio Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer.  He recognized his calling to funeral service at a young age and for more than thirty (30) years has gained valuable experience while in the employ of several funeral homes in Dayton and in Cleveland.  In addition, Tommye is an Ohio Notary Public and is licensed by the Ohio Department of Insurance to market pre-need funeral insurance products.

Lisa is also a native of Dayton, Ohio and a graduate of the University of Cincinnati (Finance) and an Ohio Licensed Funeral Director.  For more than twenty (20) years, while in the employ of several banks and financial services companies in Dayton, Columbus, Cleveland and New York City, she has gained valuable experience in business and financial management.  In addition, Lisa is licensed by the Ohio Department of Insurance to market pre-need funeral insurance products.
