Arthur J. Idom, Jr.
(July 29,
1963 - October 1, 2004)
Arthur J. Idom, Jr. was born to Elouise and
Arthur Idom, Sr. on July 29, 1963 at Mt. Sinai Hospital. "Arthur
Jr." as he was best known, attended the Cleveland Public Schools and
graduated the 12th grade from Shaw High School. He became a member
of and was baptized at Second Lakeview Baptist Church at the age of 6. Arthur Jr. began his life long trade at
Davey's Arborist Training School. He became an entrepreneur and
began his own business, Regional Tree Service. Arthur Jr. married Wanza Cunningham and out
of this union produced three children. They were married for 19
years. Arthur J. Idom, Jr. was called home on
Friday, October 1, 2004. Left to cherish Arthur Jr.'s memory are
his mother Elouise Idom; his father Arthur J. Idom, Sr.; wife
Wanza Idom; three daughters Quiana, Artina, and Khaliah;
sisters Lillie (Vera) General, Jennifer Clayton; three brothers
Bobby, Jeffrey and James Idom; one niece Nina General; one
nephew Lillo General; one grandniece Ania General Callahan;
mother-in-law Elaine Cunningham; father-in-law Frank Cunningham;
two brothers-in-law Shelly and Cory Cunningham; and a host of
aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Willie Ivory
(March 4, 1916 - July 8, 2007)
Willie Ivory was born on March 4, 1916,
in Greenwood, South Carolina. His mother was Eliza Pitts. Willie
moved to Cleveland, Ohio in 1930. He was employed at East Technical
High School, National Carbine and Highland Park Cemetery from which
he retired in 1982. In 1942, he married Johnnie Mae and in
1962, he married Christine Fleming. There were no children from
either union. On Sunday July 8, 2007 Willie departed
this life. On this day, Friday July 13, 2007, he is laid to rest at
Highland Park Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio. Those left to mourn include one son,
Willie Lane, and a host of other friends and relatives.
