Johnnie
Anita “Nita” Akins was born on March 1, 1963 in Cleveland, Ohio to
Ruth Henderson and John Johnson.
Anita accepted Christ
into her life at an early age and was educated in the Cleveland
Public School System.
Her greatest
accomplishments in life were her children and grandchildren whom she
loved spending time with. She especially loved spending the night
with her mother and watching movies. Nita also loved listening to
music and cooking.
On Wednesday,
February 24, 2010, Nita was called home to be with the Lord and is
preceded in death by her father.
Those left to mourn
and to cherish her memories include one son, Carl Akins; one
daughter, Ronita (Roland) Beasley; her mother, Ruth Henderson;
brothers, Melvin Akins and John Akins; a sister, Sylvia Akins; eight
grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; as well as a host of aunts,
uncles, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.
