DeMeion attended Iowa Maple elementary
and was currently attending Hope Academy East, where he was on the
Merit Roll. DeMeion was very intelligent and was recently tested by
the Sylvan Learning Center where he scored at a seventh grade level.
“Dee Dog” as he was commonly known by
family and friends enjoyed football, basketball, drawing, cracking
jokes and dancing. DeMeion was a member of the Glenville Titans
football team he wore the number three. He was a linebacker. He was
training his brother DeMetrion so that they could both be
untouchable this year when the football season started. DeMeion was
a very unique child even though he was only ten he lived life of a
thirty year old DeMeion was a very suave and debonair young man. He
loved to wear Koi cologne by Ed Hardy. That was his favorite cologne
besides Polo Sport. DeMeion loved his little brother DeMetrion with
a passion unknown, a passion that only a father should know. DeMeion
was so much more mature than his time. He fed himself, his brother
and his two little cousins every morning. He was in the process of
potty training his little cousin Honesti and teaching his brother
DeMetrion and little cousin Darreyon how to do the latest dances.
DeMeion or “Dee Dog” as he was called was to love him. He touched
the heart of everyone who encountered him. I can’t put in words the
energy that he possessed because there are none.
DeMeion leaves to cherish all his
memories his parents, mother Nyeesha Drake and father DeMetrius
Bell. Two brothers DeMetrion and DeMetrius Bell, two sisters Chardae’
and Chayla, grandparents Delores and Rickey Drake, a grandmother
Janice Smith, two aunts Akiya Drake and Lisa Bell two uncles Richard
Drake and Anthony Barnes, two special cousins Darreyon and Honesti
Williams; and a abundant host of family and friends.
