Nellie
Jean Hayes was born April 14, 1944 to the proud parents of Silas and
Juliette Wilson in Talladega, Alabama where she accepted Christ at
an early age.
After graduating from Talladega High School at the age of 18
years old she moved to Cleveland, Ohio where she met and fell in
love with Clifford D. Hayes Sr.
Nellie and Clifford were married on February 8, 1964.
Through their blessed union were born three children, Deborah
Victoria, Clifford David Jr. and Broadies LeBaron.
To all those who knew Nellie Jean, her husband, children and
family were her life.
As a full-time wife and mother she later became a
self-employed Daycare Provider. As a daycare provider Nellie Jean
provided loving care to hundreds of children and their families.
Nellie Jean lived a wonderful life and possessed a truly
loving spirit that was granted to her by God. She had a giving
heart, outgoing personality, love of people and the ability to make
your mouth water with her cooking.
Nellie Jean shared her blessings with many – whether a
daughter, sister, wife, mother, mother-in-law, granny, aunt, cousin,
or just a friend. Nellie Jean was always willing to share her love.
As she finished this journey of life, she was now the
everlasting angel of husband Clifford Hayes Sr.; mother of Deborah
(Jimmy) Neason, Clifford (Martina) and Broadies LeBaron Hayes;
grandmother of Parris Hayes, Jamal Neason, Clifford Hayes II, Jahmad
Neason, Jermani Hayes, Bashah Neason and Brittan Hayes; daughter of
Silas Wilson (deceased), Juliette Wilson; sister of James (Juanita)
Wilson, Silas (Charlotte) Wilson and Julius Wilson. She also leaves
to mourn a host of other loving relatives and friends.
