
David Hollis Hill was born in Livingston, Alabama on September 19,
1948 to the late Ella Bell Hill. He confessed his life to Christ at
an early age and joined the First Baptist Church of Livingston,
Alabama where he was a member until he moved to Cleveland to live
with his sister Rosetta and her husband, the late Hollie Mackey.
David graduated from the Sumter County Training School In
Livingston, Alabama. Over the years, he worked at various jobs with
his last job being at Aluminum Waste Technology before he suffered a
stroke.
He departed this life on Sunday, April 4, 2010 at 8:35am at Manor
Care Nursing Home.
David leaves to cherish his memories, one daughter, Tiffany
Clemmons; two grandsons, Damarion Clemmons and JayLenne Clemmons;
his devoted sister, Rosetta Mackey; three nieces, Andrea Mackey of
Kingston, North Carolina, Lynda Mackey of Charlotte, North Carolina,
and Mercedes Mackey of Cleveland, Ohio; three great-nephews, Perris
Mackey, Bryan Nwafor and Daylon Burgess; three aunts, Laura Coleman
of Livingston, Alabama, Jessie Johnson of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and
Dorothy Bins of Chattanooga, Tennessee; as well as a host of cousins
and friends.
