Brenda G. Huff was born on October 29, 1940 in Dayton, Ohio to Johnnie Mae Gardner and Bass Fields and was raised in War, West Virginia by her great-aunt and great-uncle, Alberta and Charles Robinson. 

Brenda accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age.  She graduated from Excelsior High School and later moved to Cleveland, Ohio with her daughter, Selena Robinson Reed.  In Cleveland, Brenda met and married Willie Huff, Jr., who is now deceased.  To their union, four children were born - Regina Huff, Larry Huff, Terry Huff and William Huff.

Brenda worked for many years in housekeeping and retired in 2005.  After retiring, she devoted her time to doing the things she loved most - taking care of her home, shopping for “what-nots”, interacting with people, listening to her music and enjoying her family and friends.

Brenda was someone who never met a stranger.  She treated everyone just as she wanted them to treat her - with LOVE.

On Thursday, December 17, 2009, Brenda departed this life.  She is preceded in death by her parents as well as by one grandson, Brandon Robinson.

Those left to mourn and to cherish her memory include five children, Selena Reed, Regina Huff, Larry Huff, Terry (Elren) Huff and William Huff; one sister, Dorothy Cummings; one brother, Curtis Maxwell; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other loving relatives and friends.
