Linda Diane Gaines Johnson, known to her family and friends as “Pookey and Lin”.  She was born May 28^th, 1949 in Cleveland, Ohio, to Mother Miss Doris Gaines and Father Mr. Eugene Boone.

Linda grew up attending Cleveland Public Schools.  She met her soul mate Mr. Lee Johnson in 1964.  They soon married for their eternity.  During her life times she was a loving mother and wife.  Linda always open her heart and door to family and friends that needed help or just needed to talk.  She enjoyed Arts and Crafts, Cooking, Partying and had a green thumb - loved her plants.  Linda was also co-founder of Ashanti House a community outreach center in 70’s- she worked as a outreach specialist.

On January 12, 2010, she was called home to join her heavenly father.  Her mother and father Miss Doris Gaines, Mr. Eugene Boone, 5 aunts, 2 uncles-James, Thomas, Helen, Sadie, Ruby, Cynthia, and Gloria whom all preceded her in death.  She leaves to mourn and cherish her memories a Husband Lee Johnson, Son Keith Sr., Mike, Lenard, and her beloved Champagne, Jessica, and Angela Anderson Gaines.  Twama Anderson, Tomika King, Starlet Anderson, Keith Gaines Jr., Keinda Gaines, Zacusses Gaines and Michelle, Tahesha, Mike Jr. Grandchildren.
