
Willie
Demetrius Jones, affectionately known by his family and friends as
"Demetrius" or "Bleu", was born August 3, 1974 in Cleveland, Ohio.
He was a kind and gentle person who always drew others to him with
his joyful and lovng spirit. He was preceded in death by his
grandfather Willie D. Jones.
Willie received Christ at an early age
at Confirmed Word Faith Center in Pasadena, California. On
Sunday, January 17, 2010, Willie recommitted his life to Jesus
Christ and was filled with the Holy Spirit. He attended
Sunkist Middle School and graduated from Rowland Heights Heights
High in Rowland Heights, California. He worked for Greyhound
Bus Company as a bus operator for many years. In 2006, he
relocated to Atlanta, Georgia where he began working for
Metropolitan Atlanta Regional Transit Authority (MARTA).
We will all cherish the fond memories he
left us. He is survived by his mother, Jackie Jones; sister,
Kimberly E. Jones of Cleveland, Ohio; big brothers, Travis Stone and
Steve Smith, both of Atlanta, Georgia; "Granny", Dorothy E. Jones;
nephews, DaVarien, DaeTwan, DeMarco and Dwane, all of Cleveland,
Ohio; nieces, Damaria and Desiree, both of Cleveland, Ohio; aunts,
Loretta Williams and Dorothy Yates, both of Cleveland, Ohio; several
great aunts and uncles, all of Los Angeles, California; special
friends, Wanda, Vanessa, Cecily, Tonya, Kaleena, Tiffany, Dewayne
and Tavaris, all of Atlanta, Georgia; faithful family friends,
Dianne Wilmore, Elder Alice Johnson and Duane Daniels, all of
Cleveland, Ohio. Willie is loved by many co-workers, and a
host of cousins and friends.
