Tommye, a native of Dayton, Ohio, is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati (Economics) as well as the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and is an Ohio Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. He recognized his calling to funeral service at a young age and for more than thirty (30) years has gained valuable experience while in the employ of several funeral homes in Dayton and in Cleveland. In addition, Tommye is an Ohio Notary Public and is licensed by the Ohio Department of Insurance to market pre-need funeral insurance products.

The late Lisa A. Smith was a native of Dayton, Ohio (October 28, 1958 - June 12, 2014), and a graduate of the University of Cincinnati (Finance) as well as, an Ohio Licensed Funeral Director. For more than twenty (20) years, while in the employ of several banks and financial services companies in Dayton, Columbus, Cleveland and New York City, she gained valuable experience in business and financial management. In addition, Lisa was licensed by the Ohio Department of Insurance to market pre-need funeral insurance products. Tommye and the late Lisa, are the parents of three children. Tommye still resides in Cleveland Heights and remains a faithful and dedicated member of the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church.
